What is the Thermal Comfort Grant?

This scheme includes fully funded Cavity Wall and/or Loft insulation,  fully Funded LED light bulbs and a hot water tank jacket.

Criteria for acceptance
  • MUST BE AN OWNER OCCUPIER IN NORTHERN IRELAND.
  • SINGLE HOUSEHOLD INCOME OF UNDER £28,000 P/A.
  • DUAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME OF UNDER £40,000 P/A.

Fully Funded Heating & Insulation

This is a fully funded grant targeted towards homeowner occupiers in Northern Ireland who are without central heating, using solid fuel heating or have an old natural gas or LPG heating system which is over 15 years old or broken beyond repair.

This scheme includes a natural gas central heating system if the home is on the gas network or an oil central heating system where gas is unavailable. The scheme also provides for the installation of cavity wall insulation and/or loft insulation. The measure also includes LED light bulbs, remote smart heating controls and water widget.

50% Funded Heating & Fully Funded Insulation
This is a part-funded grant targeted towards homeowner occupiers in Northern Ireland who are without central heating, using solid fuel heating or have an old natural gas or LPG heating system which is over 15 years old or broken beyond repair.

This scheme includes a 50% funded natural gas central heating system if the home is on the gas network or an oil central heating system where gas is unavailable. The scheme also fully funds the installation of cavity wall insulation and/or loft insulation. The measure also includes LED light bulbs and hot water tank jacket.
